Background: I grew up in the Scranton, PA area
and moved to Bloomsburg in 1997. Started playing
drums at the age of 7 – (my first real set), before
that I was always banging on pots and pans, tables
and anything else that made noise. Joined my first
band when I was in 5th grade. We played a few
dances, a local carnival and a benefit for the public
library. From the first time I was on stage, I knew
that music would be a major part of my life. In
school I played in marching and concert band
while performing in rock bands at night. I stopped
performing live for the past 25 years, but have
always had a drum kit in my home and kept up with
my playing. I recently decided it was time to once
again get back to performing with a band and had
the opportunity to audition for Plum Crazy. As you
can tell, I passed the audition and we have been
working on tightening up our performances and
adding new music. It’s great to be playing for an
audience again and I want to thank John, Darryl,
and Shirley for adding me to the line-up.
Influences: If you keep your eyes and ears open,
you will come to realize that you can get
inspiration and meaning from each and every
person you meet and every situation you are
involved in, all you need to do is look for it.
Greatest Moments: The days that my daughters
and grand daughter were born. I have recently
been able to build a closer relationship with my
girls and come to understand just how important
relationships are in my life.
Comments: It has been great being back on stage
and performing again. I have met a lot of very nice
people in the establishments that we have played
so far and look forward to meeting new friends as
we continue to build our following – see you at the
show!!!
